Launch / Recovery Advice Prior to boats being towed to the launch position, all competitors are requested that the following checks have been performed so that your boat may be launched safely and efficiently. ◊ Engine fully tilted up and primed. ◊ Boat bung fitted. ◊ Ignition keys, kill cord and switches in the correct position. ◊ Check radio is working. ◊ All boat securing straps removed. Trailer winch is locked in position. ◊ Life jackets should be worn by all crew, particularly for launch. ◊ Competitors to remain seated whilst boat is being moved and launched. ◊ Follow the advice of competition marshals at all times, but pay particular attention whilst being launched and manoeuvring in shallow water.
On returning to the beach, follow the instructions of the beach marshals and ensure that a member of the crew walks to the trailer parking area to identify your trailer.
