News FESTIVAL T-SHIRTS 2009 Anyone wishing to purchase the 2009 Polo shirt should contact Carli by email to place your orders, stating the quantity required and size. Shirts are £15 each inclusive of P&P.
FESTIVAL GOES FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH IN 2009 The sixth Wales Small Boat Fishing Festival was staged at Amlwch Port late June, with over 50 anglers taking part in the competition. For the first time, the competition was staged over two days (Friday and Saturday 26-27 June), and the support was better than ever with many new faces taking part. The event in 2009 was sponsored by Adelphi Vaults, Amlwch Industrial Heritage Trust, Amlwch Regeneration Partnership, Communities First, Amlwch Town Council, Anglesey Aluminium, Anglesey Bait Centre, Ault Sports, Corwas, Daron Thomas, Dinorben Arms Hotel, Hertel Ltd, Isle of Anglesey Small Events Grant, Lastra Farm Hotel, Magnox North, North West Supplies, Telboys Tackle, Cllr Val Roberts (Chair) Amlwch Town Council). MAY 2009 With less than a month to go until the Festival, entries are already coming in. Please complete your entry form and send with a cheque for the full amount to the Town Council Offices, Lon Goch, Amlwch, Anglesey as soon as possible. Trailer parking is very limited and is allocated on a first come first served basis.
APRIL 2009 COMEDY EVENING – SOLD OUT! A very successful comedy evening with two renowned Welsh Comedians was staged at the Amlwch Sports and Social Club to raise funds for the Festival. Over £700 was raised on the evening, this money will be spent on the organising and running costs of the festival for 2009.
